Easy Web Bookings

Privacy policy

Who handles your information

Easy Flow Web Design operates easywebbookings.com and supplies Easy Web Bookings. For privacy questions, access or correction requests, or complaints, contact bookings@easywebbookings.com.

Information collected

When you create an account, buy a licence, contact support or use the demonstration booking form, we collect the details you provide. These may include your name, email, account details, billing details, order and payment status, support messages and demonstration booking details. We also process technical information needed to run and protect the website, such as IP addresses, cookies and server records.

Licence records include the licence key or its protected lookup value, order and account references, status, expiry and activated website domain. The licence and update service receives the key, website address and plugin version needed to validate activation and provide updates. Please do not enter real client information or sensitive information in the public demonstration.

How we use information

We use this information to fulfil purchases, provide downloads and licences, manage accounts and renewals, send transactional messages, answer support requests, investigate faults or misuse, and meet legal record-keeping obligations. You can browse without an account, but we need the relevant details to process a purchase or answer a request.

Payments and service providers

PayPal processes payments through its own systems and privacy terms. We receive order, transaction and payment-status information; our store does not collect your PayPal password. Hostinger provides website hosting and email services. WordPress and WooCommerce software manage the store. Authorised service providers may process information to operate these services, and information may be processed outside Australia. Provider processing locations depend on their services and infrastructure.

If Google Calendar sync is enabled for a booking calendar, the booking service sends the event details needed for that integration to Google, such as the service, customer name, email, phone and booked times. External busy times may be read back to prevent conflicting bookings. The public demo uses a dedicated test calendar when this integration is enabled.

Cookies

The website uses cookies and similar storage for functions such as login sessions, the shopping cart, checkout and security. Payment providers may use their own cookies when their payment tools load. You can control cookies through your browser, although blocking required cookies can prevent login or checkout from working.

Your customers’ booking data

When you install Easy Web Bookings on your own WordPress website, that website stores and handles its booking records. Its business operator is responsible for the customer privacy notice, access permissions and connected payment, email or calendar services. Purchasing a licence does not by itself send your website’s full booking database to this store.

Storage, security and retention

We limit access to information to people and providers who need it for the purposes above, and use account controls and HTTPS to help protect it. No online service can guarantee absolute security. We keep account, licence, order and support records for the periods needed to provide the service, resolve disputes and satisfy applicable legal obligations. Email delivery logs are currently configured for 14-day retention; messages in mailboxes and backups may have different retention periods.

Access, correction and deletion

You can view relevant account and order information through My account. Email us to request access, correction or deletion of other information. We may need to verify that the request is yours. Some transaction or licence records may need to be retained for legal obligations, security or an unresolved dispute; we will explain any applicable limitation.

Privacy complaints

Send a description of your concern to bookings@easywebbookings.com. We will acknowledge and investigate it and explain the outcome. If you remain dissatisfied, you can seek information about available complaint options from the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner or the privacy regulator relevant to your location.

Policy changes

We may update this policy as our services change. The current version and its update date will appear on this page.
